Eagle Ridge RV PARK (the “Park”)
Park Policies (the “Policies”)
NOTE:
- These Policies form part of the License Agreement signed by the Occupant for the use of a Site at the Park
- These Policies may be amended at any time by without notice
- All revisions to these Policies will be posted on the Parks website
- It is the Occupants obligation to ensure it and its guests are in compliance with all Policies as amended from time to time
- RV and RV Site:
- RV Site is for use by the Occupant and its guests only
- RV Unit cannot be rented for use by others
- RV Unit must be portable and remain portable at all times
- RV Unit shall at all times be roadworthy, licensed, and insured as required by applicable laws
- The Occupant is responsible at its sole cost for winterizing its RV Unit
- Park Conduct/Quiet Hours:
- Park quiet hours are from 10pm until 7am daily except midnight until 7am Fridays and Saturdays
- Disorderly conduct, loud music, excessive noise, unruly behavior drunkenness, obscene language, obnoxious, disruptive or vulgar behavior, will not be tolerated
- All radios, television sets, stereos, phonographs, etc. must be turned down to a level that does not annoy or interfere others
- The Occupant shall control all of its guests and permitted pets to ensure the peace and privacy of others
- Those not complying with these Policies will be asked to comply and if they do not will be asked to leave the Park
- Alcohol/Drugs
- Alcohol is only permitted on a Site and excessive use will not be tolerated
- Underage drinking and illegal drug use are not permitted
- Off-highway vehicles (“OHV”) (ie. dirt bikes, all-terrain vehicles,
mini-bikes, quads and side by sides) and golf carts are allowed in Park on
the following terms:
- Speed limit is 15 kph in the Park
- Golf Carts:
- Only a legal age driver in the Province of Nova Scotia with a valid provincial driver’s license card operate an electric golf cart in the Park
- Golf carts must have proof of insurance and shown to park management upon request
- Golf carts are to be driven on the roads only within posted speed limits
- Golf carts cannot be sold within the Park
- Golf carts are permitted to be driven in the Park after dark as long as golf cart has driving lights up until Park quiet time
- OHV's:
- Are allowed to be driven from your Site to the entrance for leaving the Park only
- OHV’s cannot be sold in the Park
- OHV’s must have proof of insurance and shown to park management upon request
- No washing of any type of vehicle, OHV, RV UNIT or trailer is allowed in the Park
- Septic System:
- Only human waste and toilet paper are allowed in the sewer system >
- DO NOT FLUSH sanitary products or wrappers into system
- RV Unit waste water tanks in the RV Unit shall only be discharged into the Sites’ sewer system when they are full
- Honey truck service is provided as part of your rate on a weekly basis to sites that don’t have onsite septic disposal and can be provided more often if required
- All RV grey and black water must be drained into the Park dumping station
- Site Improvements:
- No improvements to the Site shall be made without first obtaining the Park manager’s prior approval
- Fences are not allowed except with Park manager’s prior approval
- The following items are not allowed within the park:
- Hot tubs,
- trampolines,
- blow up play accessories,
- pools of any size.
- All fridges must be enclosed or stored in a shed and subject to prior Park management approval
- Tidy Site:
- Sites are not to be used for storage or anything creating an eyesore as determined by the Park manager
- The Occupant is responsible at its own cost for keeping its Site neat, tidy and clean, grass trimmed, weeds removed and the exterior of its RV Unit and permitted Site Improvements in good repair; failing to do so will result in the Park cleaning up the Site at the Occupant's cost
- Only furniture and accessories suitable for one RV Unit as determined by the Park manager are permitted on a Site
- Vehicles:
- Each Site comes with one parking space. In some cases, depending on the makeup of your Site and the size(s) of vehicles you may be permitted a second parking spot
- All guests must park in the marked parking area located before main entrance
- Occupants and their guests shall only drive their vehicles on designated roads, trails and Parking areas
- Non-operative vehicles are not permitted and may be removed by the Park manager at the Occupants expense
- Disassembly, building, rebuilding, servicing or repairing of any vehicle or vehicle parts is not allowed in the Park
- Permitted Pets Only:
- The Occupant must have the prior consent of the Park manager to bring a pet into the Park
- The Occupant shall dispose of all pet waste promptly and properly in outdoor garbage cans only
- If pet waste is not disposed of promptly and properly in their household garbage the Occupant may be charged $100.00 per violation
- Pets shall not make noises that disturb others
- Pets must be kept on a leash at all times and not be left unattended
- All pets shall have current vaccinations and licenses
- Do not leave your pets unattended inside or outside
- The Park manager has the unfettered right to refuse entry into the Park and ban any pet from the Park at any time for any reason
- Potable Water:
- Potable water provided in the Park and on the Sites is for household use only
- Garbage:
- Specialized Dumpsters are provided for the camping community as noted
below
- GARBAGE dumpsters for standard household trash
- CARDBOARD ONLY dumpster - campers expected to break down boxes
- COMPOST BINS
- BLUE RECYCLE BINS
- BARRELS FOR REFUNDABLE ITEMS
- METAL ONLY BINS
- All items must be disposed of in the appropriate dumpster and the lids kept closed when not in use
- No large items such as mattresses, carpets, cabinets, awnings, chairs, construction material is to be place in our dumpsters. Campers are expected to take to the local dump.
- Littering is not allowed
- No garbage shall be left outside an RV Unit
- Specialized Dumpsters are provided for the camping community as noted
below
- Posted Signs:
- The Occupant and its guests shall obey all posted signs at all times
- Open Fires:
- Not allowed except in designated fire pits on your Site
- Exterior Clothes Lines:
- Are permitted with Park managers permission
- Tents:
- Not allowed except with the prior approval of the Park manager
- Occupant Guests:
- The Occupant shall ensure that it and its guests do not disturb the quiet enjoyment of anyone using the Park
- The Park manager can limit whomever the Occupant wants at its Site for any reason by reserving the right to refuse entry to unsuitable guest and imposing a curfew on all Occupant guests
- Firearms/Fireworks:
- No firearms of fireworks are allowed at any time
- Firewood:
- Firewood can be brought into the Park for burning purposes
- Do not burn pressure treated/painted wood or wood containing nails, staples etc. and under no circumstances will it be permitted
- Swimming Pool:
- THE POOL IS UNSUPERVISED AT ALL TIMES AND YOU USE IT AT YOUR OWN RISK
- Campers are to follow the reservation process that is in place for booking time at the pool; refer to our Facebook community page for details regarding the process.
- Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult
- No food, alcoholic beverages, pets, glass and smoking in pool area
- Please have long hair in pony tails while swimming in the pool
- No smoking or vaping inside the fenced pool area
- Tree Removal:
- No dead or alive trees shall be removed in the Park except with the Park managers consent
- Restrooms:
- Please help our restrooms stay clean
- No smoking or vaping in the washrooms
- Report any problems to management as soon as possible
- Respect for other Occupants/Wildlife:
- Please respect your fellow campers
- Do not cut through other Sites
- Please respect all wildlife in the Park
- Children:
- It is the responsibility of all parents and/or guardians to ensure their children play safely in the Park and to take care of them at all times
- Mud Sliders:
- No mud sliders allowed in the Park
